Ajman Free Zone’s tech-driven projects to add more value to products and services

Ajman Free Zone recognizes its vital role and contribution not just to the emirate of Ajman but also to the region’s economy. Alongside our numerous business partners, we significantly contribute to the diversification and growth of the economy as well as in generating jobs, among others. Given this pivotal role, we ensure that we provide innovative products and services to our business partners for them to unlock more opportunities and serve their customers smarter.

To achieve this, we harness the power of technology to enhance the digital capabilities of companies in the free zone. We are focused on the goal of transforming AFZ as a full digital business community which provides our partners with seamless, efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable services for their business growth. The changing needs and trends in the business world push us to be more innovative in the delivery of services which in return, provides our partners with competitive edge in a digitally driven business world.

With this regard, we have integrated the Geographical Information System (GIS) in our business system, projects, applications, and operations to improve our services and facilitate a seamless journey for our business partners and customers. The GIS provides customers with direct access to information about AFZ sites including a map that shows vacant and occupied areas as well as nearby infrastructure and facilities. The system includes 360-degree images and a virtual assistant for online evaluation and inspection of the site before booking it. We also equipped the system with AFZ robot known as Ghaith for interactive interaction and the GPS services enable users to locate nearby areas conveniently.

We also recently launched our Robotic Process Automation (RPA) System to further reduce the time required to complete services and transactions. The RPA System enables automation of our 44 services, which significantly contributes to cost and time efficiency. This step also fosters our support and commitment to the national objective of utilizing the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for enhanced services in the government and organizations. Adding RPA to our services further strengthen Ajman’s digital capacity and competitiveness as an investment destination.

AFZ recognizes the contribution and significance of the advanced technology sector, and in order to provide them with the needed support, we launched our AI Robotic Hub. This innovative one-stop-shop hub serves the needs and requirements of SMEs, entrepreneurs, and startups from the technology sector. Further, the hub is equipped with integrated systems and smart tools to facilitate them in their product development, marketing, and even networking with potential business partners. Staying true to our commitment in contributing to national development, the hub also features a research center that can be utilized by the government and academic institutions.
